Jennifer studied painting at Glasgow School of Art, graduating in 1978. After teaching for eight years she now works full time from her studio in Glasgow.
Her subject matter includes townscape, seascape and still life. She has become increasingly interested in the use of dramatic light and shade, as is evident from her oil paintings of French villages and Italian townscapes. In the last few years she has spent a lot of time in France and Spain where she has found much of her subject matter.
Jennifer has exhibited in Scotland, London, Maastricht and Amsterdam. She is a regular exhibitor at the RSW in Edinburgh and the RGI in Glasgow where she has won The Royal college of Physicians and Surgeons Award, the David Cargill Award and the Artist Award.
She is an elected member of The Glasgow Art Club where she has had several successful shows.
