David Curtis was born in 1948 and was painting from an early age. Growing success enabled him to commit himself to painting full time in 1988. Since then he has painted consistently on location throughout the United Kingdom and abroad. He also lectures, demonstrates and teaches and has written books and featured in videos. In 1992 he won the prestigious Singer Friedlander/Sunday Times Watercolour award. His work is in collections worldwide.
